I lived in tabs……manually patching together a real-time view of performance using duct-tape formulas and way too many late nights. I’d hunt down errors, second-guess broken links, and spend weekends trying to make the numbers line up across different sheets, functions, and teams.
When I transitioned into the CEO role, the tabs just changed, now I found myself deep in P&L, cash flow, and scenario modeling. The stakes got even higher, the spreadsheets more complex, and the manual work even riskier. One broken formula could throw off board prep, investor updates, or critical decisions.
That’s when we said: Enough.
